Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words,
I hope you'll consider starting your own list of Treasures. If you enjoy this sort of thing, take a look at the participation positives web ring.
These are my Treasures for the past week.
- A viney plant with huge floppy blue flowers, winding through a fence near a place we parked the car; nearby, a trumpet vine with many orange blossoms.
- A small but firey sunset, seen over the rooftop of the school across the street
- A pretty little neighborhood out on the Bay in Foster City, CA; all the streets are named for fish. We entered on Halibut St. and I giggled. At the corner of Halibut and Haddock I started to laugh. At the corner of Haddock and Mullet I laughed even harder.
- The grey squirrel at the feeder; the little brown birds at "work"
- SATURDAY
- Waking at 6:30 and deciding to go back to sleep until 8:30, two days in a row!
- Playing games with Raven
- Mezzaluna snuggling on my lap
- Raven popping up between my knees.
- Watching some good movies on DVD
- Squirrel snuggling as I go to sleep, head pillowed on my arm.
