"Life … is haphazard and full of beauties which I try to catch as
they fly by, for who knows whether any of them will ever return?"
— Margot Fonteyn
Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words. These are my Treasures for the past week.
- Richard home from a weekend trip out of town
- Bebop, tromping around on Rich saying "You've been away! Pet me!"
- cherry tomatoes
- Instant Messaging
- Three raccoons on the sunroom roof; feeding one of them marshmallows.
- Thursday's sunset – streaks of peach-colored cloud rising out of the fog bank like sunbeams in reverse, all set against an azure sky. No reds, just pinks and peaches, blues and greens.
- Raven tummy!
- Raven nibbling my toes in the morning
- Squirrel snuggling for a nap
- Waking up to see Mezzaluna sleeping on her favorite perch – a 16" bookshelf above my dresser!
- Going into the bedroom to change my clothes and being followed by all four cats who promptly flop down around the room and hope for a game of featherbird.
