The weather was quite nice for most of the week
Well, July is over and thus summer is more than half over. Drat. Well, we still have August and part of September.
We've had our Scion xB for a full year now (and I still think it's a great car!). Have you test-driven one yet? Try it. You might like it as much as we did. 🙂
A friend of ours was (temporarily) storing his (large, decrepit, 40-some-year-old) Dodge wagon in our driveway. He finally came and drove it away; it was here for just under 3 weeks. 😦

This week was great for reading. I read "Past Malice and A Fugitive Truth, the third and fourth archaeological mysteries by Dana Cameron. I also read Dead in the Water, by Carola Dunn (Daisy Dalrymple #6), Verse of the Vampyre, by Diana Killiam (the somewhat confusing sequel to a Poetic Death, in my opinion a better book) and The Butler Did It, a delightfully funny Regency Romance by Kasey Michaels. Kasy Michales is a very skilled writer.
In between and around the rest, I've had almost enough naps and plenty of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals (including a Perlish Chinese dinner) and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends. I've had a few chats with my Dad and also with a friend in Texas
