We had two days of rain rain rain last week. The rest of the time it was perfect autumn weather — blue and crisp and clear.
Unfortunately, my cold was followed by a lingering cough. Blech!
Rich has been cooking. Hamburgers stuffed with ortega chilies and jack cheese; turkey thigh sandwiches, turkey cabbage soup..
.
We went for one walk but mostly I've been hanging around the house, reading, napping, resting (and coughing).
This week I read Stormbreaker , a light, fast spy thriller by Anthony Horowitz.
I also worked through the remaining catering mysteries by Diane Mott Davidson: The Grilling Season, Prime Cut, Tough Cookie, Sticks and Scones, and Chopping Spree.
In between and around the rest, I've had almost enough naps and plenty of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends.
No interviews looming… if this dratted cough would go away I'd be happy.
Onward and Upward.
