Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.
— Chinese Proverbs
Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.
These are my Treasures for the past week.
- A good dinner, shared with Rich's Dad and Stepmother (who were passing through SF). Phyllo, spinach quiche, and my favorite datil…
- A bright magenta car
- Many striking Victorian houses in San Francsico, brightly painted and well-maintained. Rich says some of the houses in parts of the City remind him of skillfully iced French deserts.
- Hershey's Extra Dark chocolate with macadamia nuts and cranberries
- Rain. After a month and a half of fair weather, some rain again is very nice.
- Rich bringing me a nice hot cuppa, then staying to keep me company.
- Snoozing kitties. Bebop next to my arm. Raven in the bucket above the monitors (one paw sneaking out to grab a little monitor-top toy.) Squirrel melted on my desk. Mezzaluna curled on the cabinet behind me.
- From ThinkGeek: Roses are FF0000; violets are 0000FF… 🙂
