Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.
These are my Treasures for the past week.

• Bright red and yellow watermelons, sliced in halves and quarters, on display at the grocery store.

• Cool breezes.

• Getting back both my company ID badge and my spare car key after I temporarily lost both.

• Dinner with a friend we haven't seen in a while.

• Chatting in ASL with my fellow CalTrain rider in the mornings. I'm getting more fluent, especially at understanding.

• Some very nice compliments from people at the Job.

• Watching a woman knitting with a gorgeous iridescent variegated yarn, a ribbon yarn called "Checkmate".

• Watching ravens playing near the Mountain View CalTrain station.

• Working at home on Friday for the second week in a row. I feel so much better after I work at home.

• Working at the computer as Bebop sleeps in the buckets over the monitors, making little sleeping kitty sounds.

• Seeing six or eight ducks geese flying over us.
