Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.
These are my Treasures for the past week.

• Hot turkey sandwiches

• Self-referential inside jokes in books

• A great dinner with 14 techie people, several of whom I only knew from a mailing list (nice to put faces with names) and one friend from out of town whom I don't see often enough.

• Really cute magnetic fuzzy toys – lions and jaguars
  

• Rich fixed our garage door (it was sticking). He investigated, worked with it, lubricated it, et voila! We don't have to buy a replacement.

• Rain

• The transition to our new ISP and DSL – nice and smooth. I didn't even notice!

• Being asked to "please share my TWiki magic" with a group at the job.

• A nice long weekend afternoon doing pretty much nothing at all.

• The baby otters at the Monterey Bay Aquarium (viewed on their website's video)
