Treasures 2007_10

After all, I don't see why I am always asking for private, individual, selfish miracles
when every year there are miracles like white dogwood.

— Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.
These are my Treasures for the past week.

  • Two woolly pompom dogs, waiting with their hooman in a car in front of Pet Club

  • A patch of yellow & orange daffodils, in the midst of a larger patch of California poppies

  • Planter boxes of white and deep purple cyclamen, mixed with large yellow daffodils. I love the smell of daffodils.

  • An egret, standing still as a statue, on an embankment near the road.

  • Three very tasty sandwiches for lunch, on consecutive work days.

  • Kitties sitting with me on the couch, paws on my hands. I can still type.. mostly.
