Treasures 2007_13,14

We ascribe beauty to that which is simple; which has no superfluous parts; which exactly answers its end; which stands related to all things; which is the mean of many extremes.

— Ralph Waldo Emerson

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.
These are my Treasures for the past week.

  • More spring flowers including some lovely pink carnation-like blossoms

  • A "conversation" with a teeny little bird, perhaps a type of Nuthatch? (chirp chirp)

  • Relaxing on the couch, covered in cats

  • Dim Sum

  • A rising sugar cookie moon

  • A tree at the train station with both pink AND white flowers (different kinds; I think two trees were merged or grafted).

  • Raven, playing in the empty laundry basket – pa-doink! (rub my tummy)

  • Getting my code to work! Whoo hoo!

  • My new cubicle – very nice, with plenty of space and lots of light. I even have a window.

  • The enormous inflatable Easter Eggs in the yard of a house around the corner.

  • A hawk, taking off from a parking lot and flying straight toward us, then uP!
