Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.
These are my Treasures for the past week.
- Ravens in the nearby park, surfing the wind, obviously having a great time.
- Another raccoon, this one coming over the fence just as I was about to go out to the hot tub. I…. think I'll wait a few minutes.
- Spotting a woodpecker in our backyard, first flying (big white spots on the backs of his wings), then hopping up a tree trunk and out a limb (peck peck peck).
- Fresh chocolate chip muffins
- A pair of fabulous purple-flowered Jacaranda trees, in a nearby neighborhood
