Treasures 2007_26

That man is richest whose pleasures are cheapest.

— Henry David Thoreau

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.
These are my Treasures for the past week.

  • Warm soft heaps of fluff (two sleepy cats) in the screen room.

  • Sparrows living in the roof of the train station.

  • The ravens across the street.

  • Dragonflies buzzing

  • Rich, who drove down to the South Bay to pick me up when an accident halted the trains.

  • Bebop asleep on my arm, head pillowed on my wrist as I type.
