"Life … is haphazard and full of beauties which I try to catch as
they fly by, for who knows whether any of them will ever return?"
— Margot Fonteyn
Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words,
These are my Treasures for the past week.
- all the lovely colorful flats of annuals and perennials for planting, in the garden section of the hardware store
- Giant Sunflowers in the front yard of a house I drove past
- fun with numbers: The odometer on the Corolla read 213141 when I pulled into the driveway
- Our new Scion XB such a fun car to drive.
- Raven, walking across my desk and "falling over" against my chest
- Mezzaluna, "posing" on the table in the entry hall, settled next to my beltpack
- My brilliant Richard who suggested that if he ground the sides of my new (Scion) car key flat I could more easily tell the difference between it and my other (Camry) car key; it worked!
- Post Carb Well Peanut Butter cereal bars (yummmmmmmm)
- funny little plants behind the building where I work; one of them has blossomed in pretty white cup-shaped flowers
