Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words,
I hope you'll consider starting your own list of Treasures. These are my Treasures for the past week.
- paper-thin crisply fried onion curls … yum!
- black & orange balloons at the car dealerships
- Raven playing Hide & Seek
- people dressed up for Halloween – the bagger at the grocery was a butterfly with feathered wings
Saturday night, just before midnight, a "cow" got out of a car in front of our house, heading for a party down the street! (I hope there was a party 🙂 - Mezzaluna and Raven sitting on the screen porch, enraptured by a grey squirrel at the feeder (tails flicking, ears twitching, eyes wide).
- A man in a "Planet of the Apes" mask who came into the diner while I was eating breakfast. He was carrying his "buddy", a large stuffed orangutan.
- Getting my "Two Cents" in the Chronicle again 🙂
