Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.
These are my Treasures for the past week.
- Raven snuggled into my lap and arm.
- Watching cat eyes change as something nearby makes a noise.
- Watching one of the cats "listen" to Rich moving around in the kitchen – head moving, ears swiveling. Such active listeners, kitties.
- Following Raven's progress as he dug into the sweatshirts in my closet, only his back end still visible, working on creating a "cave"
- Agreeing to Squirrel's most explicit request for a Sunday afternoon snuggle and nap.
- Playing "laundry basket monster" with Raven – twice.
- The weird and wonderful fog fountain (cool air humidifier?) at my dentist's office.
- A bright green moth on the front of the house one morning
- A Trader Joe's cocoa-dusted melt-in-your-mouth chocolate truffle. Yummmmm.
- Squirrel coming in the night, snuggling down into my arms. Me wrapping him in a hug. He wrapped his paws tight around my wrist to pull me closer. Purrrrrrr.
