Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.
These are my Treasures for the past week.

• My fortune cookie: You find beauty in ordinary things. Do not lose this ability.

• Naps and snuggle time with cats

• Reading an excellent and extremely well-written book.

• The moss on the wall by our front walk

• One of our kitties requesting huggies and headrubs, right now, please, if you don't mind. Ahhhh.

• Loreena McKennitt's newest album

• Two cute teddy bears, one with a very looong body. I think he's the hitherto unknown "weaselbear"

• The very nice 8-oz plastic screw-cap milk containers from McDonalds. Now I have much better containers for transporting my morning iced coffee "mix" to the Job.

• Coming into a three-day weekend.
