These are my Treasures for the past week.

• Waking up to cuddly cats

• Our new wireless anemometer

• License plate on a limo: LAVISH 1

• Sigg brand sport bottles, "seamlessly extruded from a solid slug" of aluminum. I like the alliteration.

• The sweet Mallard duck couple at the train station two days this week. The male nibbled my fingers. I fed them bits of a peanut butter cereal bar I had in my pack.

• Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips

• Seen from the train – a stretch of telephone wire with 6 pairs of sneakers hanging from it.

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.
