These are my Twitter entries for July.

  • We have a flock of chickadees in the backyard (chirp). They come to the feeder, preen, get one seed and fly off. To and fro. Tweet chirp. 10:15 AM Jul 7th

  • We have nuthatches as well as chickadees. I love little birds. I want to stroke their little heads and the downy feathers on their chests. 10:18 AM Jul 7th

  • Big blue Scrub Jay at the feeder. Squirrel cat says "Meep!" 9:54 AM Jul 10th

    • Working from home. The breeze through the window smells like honeysuckle and other good things. Two ravens are having a noisy discussion. 10:51 AM Jul 14th

    • Oh Wow! A hawk just stooped for something on the sunroom roof. I don't think he got it. He flew back up & sat on the top of the bird feeder. 7:01 PM Jul 14th

    • I just had a hawk 10 feet away, outside the bedroom window. Maybe you get those all the time, but we don't. Oh. Just. Wow. BIG bird. Regal. 7:04 PM Jul 14th

    • OH: "Do you mind if we parking lot that issue?" /me: "parking lot" as a verb? {shudder!} 9:23 AM Jul 16th

    • There's a daycare near our house. One of the adults is blowing soap bubbles. It's windy. Soap bubbles are flying down our street at ~10mph. 4:10 PM Jul 17th
