I like our newI like this vets' office. They have treats in the exam rooms and blankets for pets who need a hidey place.
Truffle's first hiding spot was behind the monitor, but the vet preferred her out in the exam area.
And yes, other than the weight, they did the exam with most of the cat under the blanket.
