When we moved into this house, the latch handle on the dishwasher door was broken / missing. It's been possible to open the door by sticking a finger into the gap, feeling around, and pressing up on the metal latch, but it was… annoying.
Rich ordered parts (801, 802, 804, 805). They came.
We then spent at least an hour trying to figure out how to assemble those parts into a working latch mechanism.
The "exploded diagram" of parts was the only documentation, and the diagram does not actually show either the position or the orientation of those parts.
We eventually prevailed, Rich turned things in another direction and that direction Worked! Whee! I then opened and closed the dishwasher half a dozen times just because I could.
