We buy Friskies Party Mix crunchy kitty treats for the cats. We buy the 20-oz plastic canisters with screw-on lids. Sometimes, the lids aren't tight. This is OK because there's a foil paper seal on the canister under the lid.
We had run out (poor kitties!), so I ordered half a dozen from Amazon. When they arrived, Rich opened the box. Later, at dinner time, I set the open box on the floor in a corner of the kitchen.
At bedtime, I went to get one of the canisters to give the cats their bedtime treat. One of the cannisters was already open (in the box) with the lid sitting neatly (upside down) on the canister next to it, foil paper seal inside the lid. Also, the level of crunchies in the jar was down about 1.5 inches.
"Rich? DId you open a jar of crunchies for the cats?"
"No. I opened the box, folded the flaps down, and put the jars back in the box."
"One of the jars is open."
"You must have done it."
"I'm certain I did not."**
