Rich and Vicki’s Great Adventure, part 3

When we left Rich and Vicki  on Sept 30, they had ordered PODs delivery… (previous post)

On Oct 1, the home inspector came.

We continued to declutter, pare down, dismantle, and pack. We disassembled the kitchen chairs. We disassembled the poof (2020-10-03 18.25.29.jpg ) Our realtor dropped off a packet of Disclosure papers (We looked at the packet of papers; Our eyes crossed. We called Karin. She'll came by the next day and explained the parts we needed to know and told us where to sign or initial.)

We talked about houses. We began focusing on the Kitsap Peninsula to the west of Seattle.

Rich got a phone call from U-Haul: They cannot guarantee that we can pick up a truck on the 10th. We might have to drive "100 or 200 miles away" to get a truck.

They seem to keep losing the information that we want to get an auto transport trailer on the 29th.  They cannot guarantee that we can pick up a trailer on the 29th. They cannot guarantee that we can get a trailer anywhere within a 100 mile radius. They seem to be incompetent.

How do we avoid needing a U-Haul truck? If we shipped the motorcycle, we would not need a truck. We would not need to tow the Camry.

Rich began to investigate how to ship the motorcycle. He found a place that will ship and also store. We canceled the "reservation" with U-Haul.

We ordered two roof-top carrier bags.

We talked about houses.

Somewhere in there, we voted. Yo Vote'
