When we left Rich and Vicki, they had accepted the inspection report on the house they were buying and were waiting to close escrow! (previous post)

We e-signed our documents last night and filed the form for a wire transfer. First thing this morning, I received two verification phone calls from my bank; the wire transfer is scheduled!

The money went through at 11:45. The title was recorded at 1:15pm.

We own a new house.

We have a U-Haul van reserved for tomorrow to schlep most of what we brought north with us in/on the cars over to Silverdale. (We are not using roof bags for this part!) After we've taken the bulk of our stuff from the AirBnB apartment to the new house, we'll take the cats and cars last, more likely Friday morning.

Whoo Hoo. We bought a house.
