I am sad. I made it to "round 2" in interviewing for an online Math tutoring/teaching job. Round 2 is a demo class with actual students.
Despite the fact that only 1 student (of the three) actually showed up, I persevered. I thought I did well. I had a good time.
I had some technical difficulties when my headphones cut out on me. Did the HR person mark that against me?
In any case, I got a form letter today from "HR" and I knew (previous email has all been from the direct account of the HR person, with her actual name on the From line and the signature).
"We've decided to go with someone else."
No why given. I don't think I want to know.
But I'm sad.
